How to get there

Located just a 20-minute drive from downtown Ottawa, the state-of-the art Ottawa International Airport serves airlines offering flights to most major cities in Canada, the United States and Europe. Being a smaller airport, there are never long lines at customs, making it the optimal arrival airport for the conference.

Getting to the University of Ottawa

By taxi

Cost: approximately $40 (from the airport to the University campus)
Where: Taxis are usually parked just outside the airport in the arrivals area.

By bus

Cost: $3.60 cash (you need exact change)
Where: The bus stop is just outside the arrivals area to your right when you exit the main doors.
Directions: Take Bus 97 (Bayshore direction) and get off at Laurier station.

There are also “Airport Limousine Buses” that travel to the downtown core several times an hour and stop at the main hotels downtown. The Novotel Hotel is the one closest to the University. The cost for the limousine bus is approximately $10.
